The inspiration for my music video is the movie If I Stay (2014), based on the novel by Gayle Forman. It follows Mia, a teenage girl who loses her loved ones in a tragic accident and is left in a coma, experiencing an out-of-body struggle to decide whether to stay alive or let go. The film beautifully captures grief, love, and the difficulty of moving forward when everything feels lost.
For my music video, i took inspiration from Mia’s emotional journey, showing a girl struggling with memories of her boyfriend, feeling trapped in a world that no longer feels the same. Flashbacks of their happiest moments could contrast with her present loneliness, emphasizing the weight of her grief.
